Benton Leach

CEO and President

As CEO of Shadowbrook Construction, Ben brings a hands-on leadership style that blends strategic vision with day-to-day involvement in operations. With a deep background in construction and over 10 years of industry experience, Ben plays an active role in business development, estimating, and project management—ensuring that every project starts strong and finishes successfully.

Ben is committed to building lasting relationships with clients, partners, and team members. By staying directly involved in key aspects of the business, he maintains high standards for quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Under his leadership, Shadowbrook Construction has grown a reputation for integrity, accountability, and delivering results.

Kathy Bach

Controller and Risk Management

As Controller and Risk Manager at Shadowbrook Construction, Kathy oversees the company’s financial health, internal controls, and risk mitigation strategies. With a strong background in accounting and operations, Kathy ensures accurate financial reporting, budget management, and regulatory compliance across all departments.

In addition to managing financial and risk-related responsibilities, Kathy plays an active role in HR processes, including policy development, employee onboarding, and organizational planning. She is a key contributor to maintaining a stable, compliant, and productive work environment—supporting both the company’s strategic goals and its people.

Daisy Leach

Primary Qualifying Agent

Daisy Leach serves as the company’s Qualifying Agent, providing licensing and regulatory oversight in accordance with Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) requirements. She brings prior experience in construction project oversight and compliance, supporting the company’s commitment to maintaining licensure and meeting applicable regulatory standards.

Daisy’s expertise is derived from prior roles as Construction Project Manager and Construction Superintendent giving her a breadth of experience across all aspects of Construction Operations. Known for a solutions-oriented approach and a strong commitment to client satisfaction, Daisy plays a key role in the continued success and reputation of Shadowbrook Construction.

Walker Jones

Senior Project Manager

Walker Jones is a Senior Project Manager in commercial construction with more than nine years of experience delivering multimillion-dollar projects from concept through completion. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Walker has proven expertise managing complex developments, including theme parks, government facilities, office campuses, retail centers, infrastructure upgrades, and high-security environments where he has consistently driven projects to successful completion by maintaining strict schedules, budget control, and uncompromising quality standards.
At Shadowbrook Construction, Walker is responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects under his management are delivered on time, on budget, on scope and on quality.
Before entering the private sector, Walker served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills under high-pressure conditions. This foundation continues to shape his disciplined, team-focused approach and ability to solve challenges efficiently in fast-paced construction environments.

 Walker holds a degree in Construction Management and is committed to results-driven, sustainable building practices, including multiple LEED-certified projects. Recognized for his attention to detail, regulatory expertise, and collaborative leadership style, Walker is a trusted industry professional focused on delivering innovative, high-performance solutions for clients.

Jim Richards

Project Manager

In his Project Manager role at Shadowbrook Construction, Jim leads project planning, budgeting, and execution from pre-construction through final delivery, ensuring every project under his management meets quality standards, timelines, and budget goals.
Jim is a seasoned construction and development professional with extensive experience leading complex commercial, residential, educational, retail, institutional, athletic, and senior living projects across multiple markets and geographies. Known for his leadership, operational expertise, and commitment to quality, Jim’s experience and expertise is critical in ensuring Shadowbrook Construction meets the needs of its customers.
 

Matt Bourassa

Vice President

With 25 years of experience in construction and real estate development, Matt is a seasoned executive recognized for his expertise in operational oversight, project execution, and portfolio management.

Before joining Shadowbrook, Matt served as Vice President of Preconstruction at RBmarks Construction, where he led the Preconstruction Department and drove operational improvements across purchasing, planning, and departmental efficiency. His leadership extended beyond numbers – building internal talent, refining workflows, and partnering with business development to strengthen the firm’s market presence.
